Get ready to get lost in a vibrant and memorable love story… And get ready to take a look at some stunning wedding photographs, an everlasting treasured testament of this dream story. The dream story of Jen & Joe and their Maronite wedding in Athens, Greece!!
Sprinkles of Romance
It all began in Beirut, Lebanon, where Joe and Jen attended the same school. But they didn’t actually meet until fate brought them together years later in the United States.
They were both so excited to connect with a fellow Lebanese person trying to be successful abroad. And from the moment they met, without really realizing it, they were falling for each other, one magical moment at a time!
Months after they started dating, Jen realized that she and Joe had shared a very serendipitous experience in the past, long before they formally met each other. As Jen says, “Because I was at my brother’s high school graduation, I actually saw Joe graduating, without knowing that he would be my future husband!” And as time went on, it became clear to Joe that “we are each other’s soul mates, meant to be together forever.”
Ready, Set, Go!
The moment they got engaged, they knew they wanted a destination wedding, which they could combine Mediterranean traditions along with their newly adopted Westernized culture. So, Greece was the ultimate choice. And just like that, the journey of a great wedding (and an even greater wedding photography session!) in Greece began…
Some months later, 71 people from Lebanon and the United States gathered in Athens to celebrate Joe and Jen’s love, which has been beautifully captured by my team, an excited team of professional wedding photographers and assistants.
Imagine waking up to a job that lifts you up and transports you to a different world – full of romance and joie de vivre; that’s my job as a wedding photographer in Greece!
The Religious Maronite wedding was full of emotions; perfect for getting some great nuptial shots and portraits that unfold a heartwarming love story. The stunning bride in an ethereal wedding gown and chic bridal heels sealed the deal with her one and only in an idyllic venue soaked in romance.
Some beautiful Lebanese elements were discretely combined with others, and the result wasn’t anything less than excellent and well-balanced. Light as air, the romantic fairytale-like scenery was the perfect backdrop for some great wedding photographs.
And while capturing all the big events of the day, I was also looking out for the small moments; those ones that are always the most amazing mementos. The feeling of excitement and anticipation in the room where the bride-to-be was getting ready, the momentary reaction of the groom seeing his bride in her beautiful wedding gown…
These minor details do tell a wonderful story about love and commitment. After all, wedding photography is not just about pictures, it’s about making moments everlasting!
And then… everyone was ready to dance the night away. The party started at an oriental pace, the pink colors and red hues of glossy bouquets highlighted the warmth and magic of the special moments, and the decoration provided plenty of opportunities for great photos.
