Enchanting Mykonos Wedding
As a Mykonos destination wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing many beautiful love stories. One of the most memorable weddings I photographed was that of Kate and James. Their journey to Mykonos began years ago and culminated in a breathtaking ceremony on this idyllic island.
A Serendipitous Meeting
In 2012, after high school, Kate went on a holiday with some girls from school, choosing to spend a week away at the beach to relax. Little did she know, this trip would change her life forever. "When we got to our beach house, we saw there was a house full of boys just down the beach. Two of them came up to us on the beach to show us a koala in the tree. I didn’t know it then, but that was the first moment I’d meet my future husband," recalls Kate. They instantly became great friends and spent more and more time together.
A Dream of Mykonos
Two years later, in 2014, James traveled to Europe with his two best friends. During his travels, he discovered a little church by the water in Mykonos and envisioned a future where he would bring Kate back to this beautiful island to marry her. True to his word, they returned together in 2016, and Kate fell in love with Mykonos just as James had. This magical place became the backdrop for their love story, leading to the decision to exchange vows and rings here.
The Perfect Destination Wedding
Fast forward to their wedding day, Kate and James chose Mykonos for their destination wedding, creating an unforgettable experience for themselves. Surrounded by the azure waters and stunning landscapes, the couple's dream wedding became a reality. The intimate ceremony, just for the two of them, took place at a villa where the couple decided to stay during their time in Mykonos.
